Here’s a live video of “Appetite for Distraction” in St. Louis! Our friend Jim from Falsetto Boy threw us such and awesome show. Thanks Jim! And I think my friend Jack took the video but I’m not sure. Thanks Jack!
8/2/13 - El Paso, TX
We played a late show at an auto salvage yard. I set up the merch on a pile of tires & we saw a scorpion.
We got into New Orleans yesterday around 5. Our host was a sweet and ghostly gentleman named Owen. He introduced us to a chicken named Isadora Freakling. Nathan hung out with his friend Emily and the rest of us explored the French Quarter and walked along the Mississippi. We saw an incredible duo called “White Gold” dance to a Michael Jackson song on Bourbon Street.
Today Erin and I got coffee at a little shop called St Coffee. I got a small drip and a bagel and Erin got a black toddy and we shared a plain cake donut. We visited the St Louis Cemetery Number One before heading to Houston.
This morning my breakfast was cool ranch/nacho cheese doritos (2 50cent bags combined into one) and black coffee. Our show in Birmingham last night was fun, we played at a place called the Forge. We have a day off today. Right now we’re listening to Earth in the van and driving to New Orleans. Gonna hang out and explore, hopefully see a ghost or two and get some gumbo!
7/26/13 - Knoxville, TN - Fort Dickerson Quarry
Tonight!! Soooo excited!!!
7/19/13 - Milwaukee, WI — Chicago, IL
1. A person’s private property can extend only as far as their beach, not into the water it touches.
2. According to the Waukegan police officer we spoke to, it’s fairly common for criminals to take people to the lake & shoot them.
3. Whatever, swim forever.

Slept at the Borg Ward, hot & haunted. Woke up so late & drank some nice toddy, then had a co-op breakfast & hit the road to Chicago with Vancouver buddies. I rode in their luxurious tour van & talked about a bunch of stuff. Stopped twice to swim, got busted both times. I felt good.
